  19. Here's a helpful hint for those of you using Directory Opus on the Amiga.

  21. This idea was spawned by Nir Hermoni in his article in January's 
  22. LightwavePRO. Like Nir, I too prefer storing each Lightwave project in 
  23. its own seperate sub-directory in the Scenes directory. This method 
  24. facilitates tidiness and efficiency if transporting said project to 
  25. another computer or service bureau. Within the new project directory 
  26. then, several sub-directories relevant to LW's protocol need to be 
  27. created. You could use ARexx like Nir did, or you could click on a button 
  28. in DOpus which is a little faster. Nuff said, here's how.

  30. In DOpus, create a Button called "MakeLWProject" and enter the following 
  31. in the Internal Commands field:

  34.   Command   ScanDir Toaster:3D/Scenes     <--Make sure Toaster: is assigned.
  35.   Command   SetVar Project {RsEnter Project Name}
  36.   Command   Makedir "{vProject}"
  37.   Command   ScanDir "{vProject}"
  38.   Command   Makedir Objects
  39.   Command   Makedir Images
  40.   Command   Makedir Motions
  41.   Command   Makedir Envelopes
  42.   Command   Makedir Temps

  45. Make sure to check the "CD Source" flag. This implementation assumes you 
  46. have DOpus v4.12 or greater in order to use the new SetVar command and 
  47. {v} variable.
